Testimonials

  • Liz Kadar, APRN

I can attest to countless success stories. The rehab department offers patients with new deficits or debilities a safe transition from hospital stay back to their homes. Therapy and nursing work together to help maximize patients' abilities, improve their strength and coordination, and educate them on new disease processes. I am grateful to be part of this team.

  • Juanita Aviles, APRN

This setting, Assisted Living, allows me to not only provide medical care but embrace my patients as if they were my family, especially since COVID! My patients in this setting are like family to me. Many thrive off the attention they get from the bi-weekly or monthly visits. I have several patients who will stop by to see me weekly just to say hi and see pictures of my family. Again, such a rewarding position to fill and a population to serve. Not only to meet their medical needs but also to provide extra emotional support that is very much needed at this time!

  • Nate Stocker, APRN

SC House calls provide an extended period of time to be spent with the patient reviewing all their health care needs and this subsequently turns into better patient outcomes. House calls also allows for very close patient follow up especially when being discharged from a healthcare facility. The ability to be seen by a provider multiple times in a week really improves the patient’s overall outcomes and decreases readmission rates to the hospital.

  • Sherry Elder, APRN

Working in Assisted Living enables me to sit with patients and hear their life stories and hold their hand when they are scared. I strive to not only meet their physical needs, but also their mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. To put a smile on their face because they are not just a diagnosis to you, but someone’s mother, father, grandmother, or grandfather.
